She helped when she didn’t have to but she takes too many risks. He wants to not only protect her but be a part of her life permanently. And then he finds out what she has been up to and it scares the ever living sh*t out of him. Can the team convince her that she is a part of their family and they have her back? Rylie is used to being alone. Except for the family she has cobbled together that needs her and she needs them. There is just one thing she needs to accomplish before she hangs up her white hat. But when danger derails her carefully concocted plans, will she accept the help needed to survive? I love Rylie and together with Dare the chemistry is explosive. And believable, totally believable. But that is not the best part. Ms. O’Leary gives us a well crafted story. The characters have depth. The situations are real. The sense a family that comes with this SEAL team makes me want the story to never end. And while I enjoyed seeing Rylie an Darius have their happily ever after. I equally enjoyed the journey. I loved the loyalty and strong sense of right she brings to her stories. And she isn’t afraid to shy away from issues some find uncomfortable. And even as she addresses those issues she doesn’t forget about the love. The growing love between Rylie and Darius. The love Rylie has for her “family.” The love Darius has for his “family.” And combining both families into something beautiful. I adored this story and am sure that it will be one that I return to time and time again.
