Her Loyal SEAL

Kidnapped and Nearly Broken
Lydia Hidalgo is still defiant as she and her family are sentenced to death at the hands of the Mexican drug cartel. Not knowing if she will survive, her one request is that her sister will be cared for.

A Daring Rescue
Clint Archer and his team mates will stop at nothing to rescue Lydia and her family from their captors. Having to carry this brave woman for five days through the jungle creates a bond that he cannot resist.

Clinging To Life
The closer they get to civilization, the slimmer Lydia’s chance of survival becomes. The Midnight Delta SEAL team work desperately to get her the help she needs, while Clint finds himself losing his heart more each day.

Harrowing trek through a jungle. Witness protection. Danger lurking around every corner. Passion and angst. All the ingredients of a phenomenal story. I’m reminded of the song “We found love in a hopeless place.”

Her Loyal Seal is the fast-paced, action-packed continuation of the Midnight Delta series and it did not disappoint. I’m not one to rehash a plot (as the author wrote a phenomenal blurb and other reviewers are way better spoken than yrs trly). But I need to be clear, I’m not just a fan of the author’s work…, I APPRECIATE her work. I appreciate the attention to detail. I appreciate the fact that Lydia didn’t just miraculously recover from her illness… (as that does happen a lot in our genre). There were setbacks. As someone who had this particular illness a few years back, I understood the character’s frustration. In fiction, we are often asked to suspend disbelief in order to allow the story to progress. One of the main reasons I keep returning to O’Leary’s work is that no matter how fantastic the plot… there is always an underlying element of realism that makes the characters more than just figments of her imagination. These characters stay with you, long after you finish the book…, and as the series progresses, we get these phenomenal little mini-reunions with the characters we came to know and love.

I highly recommend this author’s work, and I am absolutely chomping at the bit for the next book in this series.

Vaudeville Momma

I have to be honest I don’t usually like military books of any kind, but let me tell you I’m a fan now. I absolutely loved this book I’m hooked and can’t wait to see what happens next. This is Clint and Lydia’s story and let me tell you OMG what a story!!! Lydia and her family are kidnapped by the Mexican drug cartel. Lydia’s father is to testify against them for the U.S so they send in the navy seals to rescue them. Lydia has taken one hell of a beating but that’s ok with her cause the alternative was way worse. When Clint and the seal teams get there Lydia is in bad shape and they still have a five day walk out of the jungle. Clint is immediately taken with Lydia. Her strength, courage, and determination to save her sister. As they make it back to the states and realize that there gonna have to be put in witness protection Clint is not happy. With Lydia being in such bad health he wants to be with her. When the s*** hits the fan and they realize that the Marshalls have been infiltrated by the cartel well the family be safe? When Clint realizes how much danger Lydia is in he calls in his friends to help. With everything seeming to come down around them will these two be able to stay alive long enough to realize how much they love and need each other? Can the Seals keep the family alive long enough to testify against the cartel leader? When new threats emerge can they pull together and save Lydia? I loved this book I can’t wait to see the next book which I hope is Beth’s and Jacks story!!! Y’all have to read this book I was captivated by it. Loved it
